Coins come in denominations of 5, 10, 20 and 50 centimes, and there are notes north 10, 50, 100 and 200 dirhams. There are no limits on the importation of foreign currency, though amounts of over 5,000 dirhams must be declared. Credit-card cash advances and traveler's check encashments are available from most banks, and credit cards and traveler's checks are widely accepted in larger hotels, shops, and restaurants.
